IyedeX is a Tunisian company. We adapt artificial intelligence to Tunisia and build it for Tunisians: in our dialect, inside our culture, around the way daily life actually works here.
AI that belongs here
Most artificial intelligence is built somewhere else, for someone else. It arrives fluent in other languages, trained on other habits, confident about places it has never been. It works well, right up to the moment it meets a Tunisian street, a Tunisian price, or a Tunisian way of asking for something.
IyedeX exists to close that gap. We are not translating foreign technology into Arabic. We are building artificial intelligence from the Tunisian context outward: the dialect people actually speak, the references they actually share, the problems they actually have.
That work takes the form of software and, increasingly, of physical products. Whatever shape the technology takes, the standard is the same: it should feel like it was made here, because it was.

Assistants, applications and services that understand Tunisian Derja and the context it is spoken in, for people, for businesses and for public institutions.
Physical products
Devices that put the same intelligence into the physical world, designed for how Tunisians live, work and move rather than adapted after the fact.
Models and data
The Tunisian linguistic and cultural corpus underneath all of it, together with the models trained on it and the infrastructure that serves them.
Culture is not a feature you add at the end
A system that does not know how Tunisians speak cannot be made to understand them by translating its interface. Dialect, humour, hospitality, the way a question gets asked, what goes unsaid: none of that is decoration on top of the technology. It decides whether the technology is useful at all.
Tunisian culture is specific, and worth building for on its own terms. That conviction is the reason IyedeX exists rather than a licensing deal with someone else's model.
Principles
Local by default
Tunisian data, Tunisian context and Tunisian judgement come first, not as a localisation layer bolted onto a foreign system.
Useful before impressive
We would rather ship something that solves a real problem for a real person today than demonstrate a capability that impresses in a video.
Responsible by design
Security, privacy and transparency are built in from the architecture up, in line with Tunisian and international law.
Open to the country
We work with institutions, universities and businesses, because a national technology cannot be built by one company alone.
