Terms of Use
These are the terms on which IyedeX provides everything it makes. Part one applies to everyone. After it come three parts, one for each kind of relationship: the products anyone can use, the work we do for businesses, and the work we do for public institutions.
Common rules
These terms hold for every product and every service. A later part may add to them; where a signed contract says something different, the contract wins.
1. The parties
They are between you and IyedeX, a Tunisian company based in Sfax, whose legal representative is Iyed Chraiti. Where they say "we" they mean IyedeX; where they say "you" they mean whoever is using what we made.

2. Acceptance
Using the iyedex.tn website, opening a 3amAli account, or using anything else we publish means you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, the answer is simple: do not use the service.
If you are using a product on behalf of a company or an institution, you are confirming that you have the authority to accept these terms for it.
3. Our services
IyedeX builds artificial-intelligence software and products for Tunisia: assistants and applications for the public, systems built for businesses, and systems built for public institutions. What each one does is described where it is published, and what is described can change as the product develops.
Content on the website is provided for information. It is not an offer, and it is not a commitment to deliver anything in particular.
4. Acceptable use
Whatever you are using, you must not:
- break the law, or use what we made to help anyone else break it;
- attempt to break into, disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer our systems;
- use automated means to access a service beyond what we have allowed in writing;
- submit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, or that infringes somebody else's rights;
- upload malicious code, or anything designed to damage a system or a person;
- hold yourself out as us, or imply an endorsement or a partnership that does not exist;
- use the service to build a competing model from its outputs, at scale, without our written agreement.
We may suspend or close access that breaks these rules, and where the breach is serious we will do so without notice.
5. Intellectual property
The IyedeX and 3amAli names and logos, the design and feel of our products, our software, our models, our documentation and the text and images on this site belong to IyedeX or to our licensors. These terms give you permission to use the service; they give you no rights in any of that.
You may not copy, adapt, translate, or create derived works from a product or any part of it without our written permission. What you yourself put into a service stays yours. Part two says what licence you give us over it.
6. AI output
Our assistants generate answers with artificial intelligence. That means an answer can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong, and it can be wrong while sounding confident.
An answer is information, not advice. It is not legal advice, not medical advice, not financial advice, and not an official statement about an administrative procedure. Before you act on something that matters (a diagnosis, a legal position, a payment, a deadline at a government office), check it with a qualified professional or the competent authority.
You are responsible for what you decide and do on the strength of an answer. We provide the tool; the judgement stays yours.
7. Availability
We work to keep our services up and correct, but we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add features, change them, or withdraw them, and we may take a service down for maintenance. Where a change is significant and we can foresee it, we give notice before it takes effect.
Free products can be changed or discontinued. If we discontinue one, we will say so in advance and give you a way to take your data with you.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for loss of data, profit or reputation, arising from your use of a service or from being unable to use it.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Tunisian law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against us because of how you used a service, because you broke these terms, or because you infringed someone's rights, you agree to cover the claim and the reasonable costs of defending it.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect, and we will say what changed. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can stop and close your account.
11. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by Tunisian law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any claim goes before the competent courts of Tunisia.
If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest stands.

General public
Products published for the general public. Each has its own section below, which adds to Part one.
3amAli
3amAli is a free assistant that understands and answers in Tunisian, on the web at 3amali.tn and in its mobile application. These are the terms for both.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use 3amAli. If you are between 13 and 18, a parent or guardian must read these terms and agree to your use of the service. If you are under 13, you may not use it.
One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing. The information you give when you register must be accurate, and you should keep it up to date.
Your account
You can use 3amAli without an account. An account exists so that your conversations follow you from one device to another.
You are responsible for your password and for what happens under your account. If you think somebody else has got into it, tell us at contact@iyedex.tn straight away and we will help you secure it.
Free of charge
3amAli is free to use today and there is nothing to install to start. Free is not the same as guaranteed: we may set fair-use limits so one person cannot exhaust the capacity everyone shares, and we may change or end the free tier. If we ever introduce a paid plan, existing free use will not become paid without clear notice and a choice.
Your content
What you write to 3amAli, and the files and images you send it, remain yours. You keep every intellectual-property right you had in them.
By sending them you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process and display them for one purpose: running the service for you. Separately, and only after your content has been de-identified, we may use it to improve our models, our prompts and our routing. You can refuse that second use at any time by writing to contact@iyedex.tn, and refusing costs you nothing: the assistant works exactly the same.
You must have the right to send us whatever you send. Do not upload other people's confidential information, or content you do not have permission to share.
Prohibited use
Beyond the rules in Part one, do not use 3amAli:
- to obtain something you will treat as a medical diagnosis, a prescription, or a substitute for seeing a doctor;
- to obtain something you will treat as legal advice or as an official ruling on an administrative procedure;
- to generate content that harasses, defames, or targets a person or a group;
- to produce material that is sexual and involves minors, or that promotes violence or hatred; this is absolute and we report it.
Accuracy
3amAli answers about Tunisian subjects (school, health, government procedures, travel, cooking, football), and it can be wrong about any of them. Procedures change, requirements differ between offices, and a model does not always know that. Treat what it says as a starting point, and verify anything that carries a cost if it is wrong.
Termination
You can stop using 3amAli whenever you like, and you can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by writing to contact@iyedex.tn. Deletion is permanent; the privacy policy says exactly what is erased and when.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where it is not serious we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Future products
When we release another consumer product it gets its own section here before it launches. If a product is not named in this part, it is not live.
Businesses
Software, models and integrations built for a company under contract.
The contract governs
Work for a business runs on a signed contract: scope, deliverables, timeline, price and service levels. That contract, and the data-processing agreement attached to it, come first. These terms fill the gaps it does not cover, and where the two disagree, the contract wins.
Nothing on this website is an offer. A proposal becomes binding when both sides sign it.
Deliverables and ownership
Unless the contract says otherwise: the client owns the deliverables specific to its project, and IyedeX keeps ownership of the tools, libraries, models and know-how it brought to the work or developed generally. The client receives a perpetual licence to use those background components inside the delivered system.
The client's data stays the client's. We do not use it to train our models, and we do not reuse it for anyone else; the privacy policy sets that out in full.
Your obligations
Delivery depends on the client providing the access, the data, the environments and the decisions the contract calls for, when it calls for them. Where a delay comes from the client's side, timelines move accordingly.
The client warrants that it has the right to give us whatever data it gives us, and that our processing it as instructed breaks no law and no third-party right.
Fees and term
Fees, currency, invoicing and payment terms are set in the contract. Late payment may suspend work, after notice.
Each side keeps the other's confidential information confidential, during the engagement and after it. Either side may end the engagement as the contract provides; on ending, we return or destroy the client's data at its choice and confirm in writing.
Public institutions
Work for ministries, agencies, public establishments and local authorities. Part three applies, and these terms are added on top of it.
Public procurement
Work for a public body runs under Tunisian public-procurement rules and under the terms of the market or convention that awarded it. Those rules and terms prevail over anything on this page. Where a public contract requires a clause we would not otherwise offer, the public contract wins.
Sovereignty
Systems built for public institutions, and the data inside them, are hosted in Tunisia. Where a component genuinely cannot be delivered from inside the country, we identify it and the country concerned before signature and proceed only with the institution's written agreement.
Citizen data processed for an institution is never used to train our models and never reused for another client, in any form.
Transparency and audit
We provide the documentation a public body needs to satisfy itself about a system: how it is built, what it depends on, where the data sits, who can reach it, and what happens when it fails. We accept audit and inspection on the terms the contract sets.
Where a system is meant to keep running, we agree an exit plan in advance: documentation, source where the contract provides for it, and the handover that lets the institution or another supplier take it on without the service stopping.
Artificial intelligence
Where a system we deliver informs a decision affecting a member of the public, we state that in the documentation, we do not present a model's output as a determination, and we build in a route for a person to review it. Responsibility for the decision stays with the institution, and the system is built so it can be.
